Frequently Asked Questions

Following are commonly asked questions and about our practice.

Do you accept new patients?

Yes. We happily accept new patients into our office.

What types of services do you offer?

Our doctors provide a wide range of dental services. Dr. Sealey and Dr. Berry are skilled in a broad range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, dental implants, complete and partial dentures, root canals, simple and complex extractions (including wisdom teeth), and pediatric dentistry.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept nearly all types of dental insurance. We will electronically file the claims for you, follow up on all claims and assist you with any insurance questions or issues that you may have. We will file for predetermination benefits at your request.

Are you providers in any insurance networks?

We have many patients in our practice with different types of insurance, and many patients without any dental insurance. In order to provide the same high standard of care to all of our patients, we have decided not to join any dental insurance networks. We strive to offer the best materials, procedures and services in our practice. Our doctors place a high emphasis on continuing education and quality of care. We find we can better meet our patients’ needs without being network providers. The fee constraints imposed by network administrators make it impossible for us to deliver the quality of care we demand for our patients. This does not mean that we are unaware of the importance of keeping our fees at affordable levels. It is very important to us to offer competitive fees that reflect the quality of care we offer. The most expensive dentistry is dentistry that has to be redone due to deficiencies in materials, technique or simply because the demands of a network provider system do not allow the practitioner to spend adequate time with the patient. We are dedicated to providing dentistry that will offer the greatest levels of longevity, predictability and long term affordability.

Do you see children?

We see patients of all ages. Dr. Sealey and Dr. Berry truly enjoy seeing children. We have several assistants with extensive pediatric experience who really love to help our kids get the dental care they need.

I am very anxious. What can you do to help me?

We understand that having dental work can be an intimidating process for many people. At South Hills Dental, we strive to make your visit as comfortable as possible. In addition to local anesthesia, we offer nitrous oxide (aka laughing gas) and oral sedation and anxiety medications. We also offer music and heated blankets for your appointment. We’re proud how our entire team prioritizes your comfort and is dedicated to making your as pleasant as possible.

What do the doctors do to stay current in the latest technology, materials, and techniques?

Our doctors are members of the Montana Study Club, the Tucker Study Club and The Sleeping Giant Study Club. The Montana Study Club is an elite group of Montana dentists who have studied together since the early 1990s. In addition to these groups, all of the doctors attend multiple continuing education courses every year and stay current with literature published in multiple dental journals.
